Te Vital destination in the French West Indies Guadeloupe.
it is located exactly at Vernou in the countryside, right in the middle of
the island which has 2 parts and looks like a butterfly landed on the sea :
Grande Terre and Basse Terre, the mountainous one, where the accomodation
is, at the entrance of the " Mamelles road "or route de la Traversée which goes through the mountain into a luxurious forest and takes you to the western side of the island to enjoy the most beautiful beaches in less than a 30 mn drive.
This sea side of the island is called " La côte sous le Vent " and there you have the
famous diving center of Coustaud at Malendure beach.
On that road you can stop to enjoy a river bath at " La cascade aux écrevisses" surrounded with tourist shop, restaurants and boutiques . A lot of mountain path are proposed to hikers on that road too, as well as the wonderful zoological
park with an enjoyable twisted canopy walk high in the trees on the top of the tropical forest.

At first you must know that you cannot do without a car to visit thoroughly
the island . You can rent one at a very cheap price. So many car rentals
competing.
The airport and the main city Pointe à Pitre are at about 20 mn drive from
the location. There you can visit the big musuem : Memorial Act which
opened last year.
The bungalow is closed to many commodities . Nice groceries and medical
center in less than 5 mn car ride. At the same distance you can enjoy a
snack and relax after a river bath or coming back from the beach at the
friendly gay place la " Lezard beer bar ".
The bungalow of 20 sqm plus a terrace offers Air conditionned, electric
stove with oven, microwave, big fridge, diswaher, washing machine and a
Canal sat TV you can watch inside or outside on the terrace . We provide
internet connexion unlimited and free of charge.
On your arrival you'll find in the fridge the food supplies for your first
breakfast.
After an eight hours transatlantic flight you'll be welcome at the property
by Claude ( my sister ) and Fabrice her son who will greet you with a nice
planteur cocktail.
During your stay you'll be completely self supporting but the owners your
neighbours, living by at the same place stay at your disposal, ready to
help you in case.
The fare is 60 € p/day for 2 but the minimum stay is of 7 days. For 2 weeks
we charge 700 € ( 12% discount ) and 1300€ for one month, always for 2.
As we manage the propety on a friendly base
We can accept only cash or Paypal .

There is no fixed rules about arrival and departure time.
On departure you can keep the bungalow until you leave to the airport,
usually in the afternoon or at sunset. What a comfort !
So you are kindly requested to leave the bungalow as clean as you get it on
your arrival. Everything at your disposal to help you for.
